Have i been linked?
 

All of my 4 stealth accounts were asked to upgrade from individual to sole trader status within minutes of each other.

Is this suspicious or do Amazon sometimes hit individual accounts overselling en masse?

Would a linkage normally cause more serious measures (more verification, suspension etc...) rather than a request to register as a business?

I would just be cautious more than anything, keep an eye on the accounts.
Its very possible that they send out this notification in mass.
Yes I would believe that a linkage would lead to more serious actions been taking, email asking details, suspension etc

I'm testing the water on one account. I have changed my status to sole trader and provided a stealth utr number (using the formula).

I clicked on 'I am NOT a legal representative of the business'...is that right? I'm assuming this is for people who are acting on behalf of a business rather than the actual owners?

I just logged in to see they now want a 'letter of authorisation' on company headed paper and signed. This is pretty simple and there is a template for this on Amazon itself.
Just a letter from me (the sole trader) confirming i can sell on behalf of the sole trader (me).
