My EAN's are conflicting
 

My EAN's (i'm halfway through a list bought) are now all conflicting when i try to add a new product.

I assumed the list has been picked up by someone else and used... but when i search for the 'supposed' conflicting ASIN's they can not be found in Amazon catalogue.
They are all conflicting under 'apparel' but i can't find the actual product.

I thought Amazon may have blocked them in bulk but i am getting different ASIN's for every EAN i try.
Also, as previous EAN's from this list are still live it confirms Amazon has not yet blocked them.

Has someone bought the EAN's and registered them as clothing? Amazon regognizes them as 'apparel' but nothing listed as yet?

It's possible someone made a mistake when they created theirs and things got jumbled up to the Asin.

I'm assuming you are listing your items under an asin that's existing already?

No, i'm making new listings that are unique.

I've just tested some old barcodes from discontinued products. Amazon knows they are linked to something else (so i can't list with them) but they are not listed on Amazon and can't be found in search.
Could be items that were once sold on Amazon and removed i suppose?

Yes, but seems strange that the first half of the list worked.
