Opening a Amazon account under an entity's name.

Hey everyone,

Quick question - What information/documents do Amazon require when setting up Amazon sellers account under LLC or S-Corp's name?

Do they still ask for Driver's license and a copy of a utility bill?

Yes ID and bank statement, and expect a utility bill and business license request

You can create a stealth shop in combination with your own LLC

Can Amazon see my personal info if I form an LLC and link me to old my old account? Or will an EIN suffice?

LIke anybody can, if they look up the company they will see the directors.

Does Amazon look at this? because if you have any banned Amazon account and try to use a new ein it will surely show the same name etc.

I see many eins with no name of any person at all. How do they do this?

Personal experience has told me no. I used the same name that I was banned from and created another LLC under the same exact name but in a different state and it worked just fine.

Would a ein work the same, youre saying Amazon wont look into the personal info that can be seen on EIN, LLCs etc?

Different EIN, LLC, location, etc, etc.

The only similar variable was the name that I used.

That I'm not sure.

I'm guessing what it does is add another variable against a program from linking things up.
