£20k units missing from amazon FBA centre

hi
amazon lost my shipment in FBA centre, i can prove that amazon received the shipment and they admitted they received shipment, just don't admit the content they lost which is worth £20k.
amazon keep closing my case and ask rediculous documents.
i am thinking take amazon to court, anybody have any better idea?

Ive had the same experience, however they never acknowledged receipt of the goods. I just went through the process with them, took about 6 months but eventually I was forced to contact executives directly and then got the refund.

Why do shipments get lost? Is it a mistake on the part of the seller/supplier (bad labeling...etc)?

This is sad. I keep hearing more and more of these stories. I dont get how Amazon is losing all these things. They need better bigger cleaner work areas and these employees need less time restrictions.

Your will never get Amazon is pay the full value, but have admitted they lost the actual count?

They are not losing anything ... it is clearly being stolen.

The working conditions in their warehouses would probably explain it. Staff dont give a ah1t.

Yep, the stock is getting stolen, its not possible for them to 'lose' it. The staff are worked like dogs and are on minimum wage, they just dont care.

If you are working for Amazon through an agency, yes.

But once you are employed by Amazon themselves and move up from being a picker/packer the salaries are actually very good.

My cousin is on 30k a year and he's just a team supervisor.

Yes, I was referring to the warehouse staff physically handling our stock.

not unusual for warehouse worker to steal one or two items from the lot,but if the whole shipment is missing,it is the job of pros or misplaced?
what is the content?
There was a time UPS workers in warehouse can tell if the package has a phone inside, and they were stealing them,I would advise sellers to use big box.

what documents does AMZN want to see?
The problem is no one knows what is inside except you and the thief,if it is indeed stolen?
If it is direct from manufacturer to AMZN warehouse, show them the vendor invoice and the freight bill,is there insurance?

Re: £20k units missing from amazon FBA centre

all warehouses have a receiving dept when shipments come in,with some warehouses owned by a company,it would not just accept any shipment,it would check with a list it has been provided either by the A/P or purchasing dept what have been ordered and expected to come in and what is the content and from whom?
I assume you have a FBA account with AMZN,do you have the shipping label from your supplier /shipper showing your FBA account, date of shipment and content?
Who is the shipper?
it should have all the information on when it is delivered, and who signed for it.

they said they only received 1/3 of them, even i can prove the weight of this shipment by carrier.

Re: £20k units missing from amazon FBA centre

You have to take it up with your shipper.
when did you find out it is missing 2/3 of the content, did AMZN inform you?
it is hard to say,it could be your vendor ,the shipper,AMZN receiving, storage depts.
Do yo have insurance,?
who is the shipper?
