Is it safe to reply to emails?
 

Id like to travel this summer.

Is it safe to reply to Amazon customer email inquiries using gmail on my phone? Does it matter if its the gmail app or gmail web page? Does replying to emails in gmail even send a response to the customers or do you have to login in to Amazon seller account to reply?

I do it all the time but not from the phone/app

Do it from a PC, browser, and make sure external images are disabled

But dont you have to be logged in to your amazon account to reply to customer inquiries from within seller central? Or does replying just from the email you receive in your gmail inbox, ie "Inquiry from Alred on shipping" work as a response?

Like I said, I cant bring my desktop with me when travelling, Ill have my phone though.

I always do things using Teamviewer or Anydesk. Allows you to control your home computer from anywhere in the world.

But if my PC turns off or the power goes off, im **** out of luck. Nothing I can do if im on the other side of the country lol.

I think using Gmail from your phone can be okay, IF you don't have multiple Gmail accounts being accessed from your phone. Plus, you turn off html emails on Amazon and turn off images in Gmail.
