I did.
The issue you'll have to deal with is invoices requests.
Amazon is tougher each day regarding those.

how much can you make?
I sold a set of books for $25 plus 3.99 shipping,the books weigh 5 lbs which cost me media mail $4.97 and AMZN fee $7.14.

question- how did the buyer decide to buy from him at a markup when he can buy from AMZN for less?

There is a company dedicated to providing tools for amazon to amazon drop shipping. They can convert the TBA tracking numbers into a separate system/tracking number amazon will accept so it won't get connected. This is what you need to accomplish this. There are only a few good low cost categories to do this with it.

I notice some guys have thousands (sometimes millions) of random products listed for quite a high price 1.5-2x as much.
I do not know how this business going

What triggers invoice requests? Is is poor performance, is it certain volume thresholds, is it certain duration of time as a seller. Please elaborate to help the community.

I've seen invoice requests common with listing high risk products on a new store

Or after 1-2 buyer authenticity complaints

as long as he makes enough to subscribe to that service plus a few bucks more ?
AMZN to Ebay is probably more profitable,but you have to avoid the products every one is listing!
and use your own photos and description .

I was talking to a local accountant who represents local retailers in state sales tax audit,he told me someone claimed to make $22k a month by doing AMZN retail arbitrage and the average profit per order is 40 cents.
WHich comes to 55,000 orders per month??????
I dont believe him,but he keeps insisting it is so??

There is a country in Eastern Europe which AMZN does not do business there.
Someone from that country posted on this forum ?they have a website which copied all the AMZN products ,when they receive an order,they just buy it from AMZN in another country and have them shipped to that country.
They did very well,until AMZN restricted their account.
They were using gift cards to buy from AMZN
I am sure I read it on this forum,any update??

it varies,as long as they can make a profit.
With AMZN USA,
there are so called added on products you can have for a low low price but you can only buy them at such low price if you order other items at full price,one of these add on products which come to mind is dental tapes,since I buy them on AMZN
so you could have the items in stock and sell them at higher price on AMZN or Ebay ,we could all use dental tapes!

I would not be surprised some would hoard AMZN inventory in their own warehouse and make money selling in countries where AMZN does not do business in or shipping cost is too high or unfavorable currency exchange or customs tariffs or restrictions.
