Reinstated Account Intellectual Property Rights?
 

Has anyone had any luck with getting a suspended account for Intellectual Property Rights reinstated? I make custom apparel and have had multiple accounts through the years suspended and never seem to be able to get them reinstated. I do not know if its because of my invoices or my POA but I am about 0/10...Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

I am sure when you say "custom" you are referring to using brands/logos without their permission, in which case would be counterfeit, and your chances of getting reinstated are 0%. Your lesson would be learn from you past and move on. Not a sustainable way to make a consistent income. Your only other option would be to create your own website, and drive traffic there if your products are in high enough demand.

the poa needs to be solid and address the trademark infringement and shoe strong preventative measures. It needs to be extremely specific, more so than a few months ago

Basically if you are re tailoring apparels from other brands then you’ll get nailed regardless and most of the time you can’t reinstate the account.

But if you are making your own model and fashion then it’s a whole different story and there shouldn’t even be an invoice type situation.

I am not stealing logos or trying to sell "polo" or "nike". They are our own designs that are 95% sports orientated so they are not counterfeit. We are selling our own branded designs and create our own ASIN and page for the items. So to be clear I am using ZERO trademarked or copyrighted logos.

But based off the responses here and the fact I keep going in circles on my POA, I figured it was nearly impossible to get an account reinstated. As long as I get my money from the accounts I guess its not the end of the world

HAHA well yes I would agree here but my point was I am not selling knock off Polos or knock off Nike Gear. I am making designs based off of logos and sports color schemes so I am clearly skating on a thin line I just wanted to make it clear I wasnt selling Gildan shirts as Nike

as mentioned previously, trademark infringement appeals, people dont tend to understand the violation of infringement and they do not address it correctly.

saying that 0 accounts get reinstated is simply not true.

OK, so if this is yours and your creation, invoices are not the way to go. Invoices is when you buy a product from somewhere else.

You'll need to call them and find out what actually happened. Most likely it's some idiot customer who reported you.

And tell them that this is yours. But of course you'll have to prove it. Send them your company certification

Im not sure where you are seeing me saying we steal IP protected images because Ive said we DO NOT DO THAT. We make sports shirts based around cities so a shirt of the liberty bell that says philly in carolina and red like the old school Phillies colors or a spin on a teams nickname. Not "Yankees" but how they called Los Angles "Lob City" or New York "Savages"

Every single one of our designs we make and we do not steal copyrighted images

Do Amazon still pay out when a suspension is for IP Violation? Don't they hold the money indefinitely for IP suspensions?
