Amazon Gift Card Confiscation CC Chargeback
 

Assuming you purchased the gift cards with your credit card and Amazon confiscated them, why not just start issuing chargeback claims with your credit card company?

You would have legitimate claim to charge back a charge if they take back a GC

But if you're doing lots of charge backs with your bank, they will eventually tell you to stop buying them or may stop helping you dispute them

Depending on which credit card company or bank. If Amazon points the credit card company to their website and states you violated their gift card terms - then your credit card MAY not protect you.

I've had this happen with a different vendor and American Express and I'm sure Amazon is very experienced with this.

Also, you start doing charge backs for gift cards on Amazon and say good bye to your account. If you are already locked out - then I guess that is less of an issue
