Its not necessarily bad news just yet.

The automated system that you go through to verify has just been offline since Sunday, so we are not making shops currently as it seems like they're going through some kind of security update. Almost all applications are getting manually reviewed and then the review for utility and business license are going through delays.

Going to wait it out for a week and see if they can fix the problems on their end

You can still make stealth shops, they just have an even worse success rate than they did last week.

Over the weekend the part where you verify that is usually automated, was putting all shops through manual review, and no stealth shops were making it through

Then you got the utility/business request on the majority of stores with long repetitive delays to reactivate

People making legit shops probably have no issues, but stealth shops are getting hammered

How do we know the automated system is online or offline before registering?

Tried to open an account and amazon said " We have received your information and may reach out to you for further clarification within 10 business days."

Its been on / off for the past week

I have seen that one too but they are still going through the reviews manually after about 1-2 days

Never seen it take more than a few days

The US verification automated system has once again gone offline

All reviews are getting manually reviewed

No stealth shops are getting through yesterday or today

Amazon discussion boards removed the seller verification sub forum for the US site, which is interesting.

The EU Amazon board still has the seller verification sub with non stop issues: https://sellercentral-europe.amazon....r-verification

I'm assuming most people posting on that EU board are using their real information to register

I have an amazon stealth method that is impossible for amazon to patch.......

very secretive that nobody knows......

I can get past all verifications no problems.

Arent all reviews manual already when creating a stealth account? IE: When asked for ID / utility bill?

Ive never attached a busies license when creating an account, only ID + utility bill. Are business licenses now mandatory?
