Amazon needs Identify verification for every new account??

I just tried to get a new seller account by a brand new LLC,
but the rule seems to be changed.

they are not asking for SSN or EIN, amazon wants your ID information.

so, no more stealth seller account ?

Just read yesterday about ID,that a simple driver license with picture is not good enough,it must have some information of your passport.
Cant recall if it is USA ,it must be USA and aimed at immigrants?
