Default Sell loose leaf in hardcover listing

Ok so Hardcover versions of textbooks sell WAYY faster. Would it be a bad idea to sell loose leaf in a hardcover listing if I put a picture and description. I would also message the buyer before shipping to make sure.

I don't have food sales experience on amazon since they have regulations.
I'd check on that with their customer support.
Because you don't want to seem like you are circumventing anything.

Then once you get more info about it, decide how you can sell it without breaking their rules.

Okay, I thought you were trying to smuggle tea leaves in your textbook listings, so disregard what I said above.

Still though I think you should call amazon up and see what their regulations are

You would have gotten away with that back in 2010 when they allowed condition note descriptions, and did not bother so much about who was selling what.

But it's 2019. Don't do that! You will 100% get flagged for selling the wrong item. As it is, Amazon is going bat **** crazy after booksellers this year.

if you sell it and the buyer decides to file a claim they would get the book and the money back since it doesnt fit description including isbn
