I see, but you're still diverting sales which is essentially against TOS. Its a slippery slope and really a matter of your risk tolerance. If its all FBM items the chances of getting into trouble is slim. But its there, and at the end of the day its a measure of risk you want to take. The product I had a billboard on the back of offered all sorts of similar complimentary products, but Amazon didn't care. In fact, Amazon was more concerned with trying to get involved in the action because of the velocity at which these sold at. And at the time we had multiple reps we could call up if anything happened. Just a matter of risk tolerance I'd say. Totally up to you. I can't make that decision for you, I can only speak of my own personal experiences. Based on my own experiences I don't see much of a risk but it is a violation of TOS and one hit to that could cost you your account.

I agree with you. I read that platinum sellers on Amazon could make deals with Amazon to include promotional material in their packages, so I will definitely look into that and see if I could make a contract with Amazon in that regard (if such contract is possible to begin with).

The only risk I run from doing this without Amazon's knowledge is when a competitor buys something from me and then reports my ass to AMZ, the chance of that happening is slim, but I don't want to fall victim to bad luck.

how about, using a Amazon stealth account, maybe a secondary stealth account to sell that same popular brand. And then put those brochures there. So if they suspend your account, they will suspend your secondary stealth account? Just a thought

yes,I read somewhere when APPL starts selling on AMZN,AMZN shut down the third party sellers who sell refurbished AAPL products.
if they dont shut down the accounts,they could hide them,AMZN is good at doing so.

This is where Ebay comes in,plenty of sellers selling refurbished,used,electronic items,I found my 2 IPODS on Ebay,one has a cracked screen but it works fine,the other one is meant for the European market but brand new and it works fine as well.
I have sold my used Roku and router with no problem.

The problem is it takes money to make money,why do you think sellers flock to Ebay and AMZN to sell and pay for the privilege,because their own websites get no traffic.
Your idea is nothing new,many of us have tried,why do you think we are selling on Ebay and AMZN and paying to do so?

You will have to give them incentive to read your flyer and type in the URL,like free shipping and coupon for first order,like 10-25% off.

I assume your product comes with instructions? Can you make the instructions with the last page of the brochure being your advertisement? Such as:

“If you like XYZ discount phone case, you’ll love our new discount website for all things electronic. New customers take 10% off with code: 123”

I doubt anyone cares about that and I receive coupons all the time at the end of the instructions from many different products that only work on their website. :typing:
