On new account registration Amazon asking for passport details but I dont have passport and entered ID card detail in passport section is it ok or will this cause issue

Had no option for the ID card?

Dont they accept anymore just passport?

Usually if they ask for Passport that's what you'll need to give them.

But since you already gave them a different ID just wait it out for a 3-4 days.

There are option to select Passport, Driving licence or National ID. You can choose from them.

If you enter Card ID in place of Passport number, if they request for manual verification, your passport number wont match.

So make sure you provide them what they ask for and it will work fine.

Yes thats what i am shocked it was no other option just passport no thats all no option for id card or driving licence

Just got an email they verified the account and its up and running

Seems like yet another glitch to the system as normally you should see a drop down with a few options on what you can submit

His flag said UK and the title of his thread said AMZN USA.
AMZN would assume he is UK citizen coming to sell on AMZN USA,so how did he get into USA ,he must have a passport?
does it make sense?
not everyone has a passport unless you travel

Its made with UK detail no need to travel for that!!!

Many people refer to amazon.com as amazon usa,since thats technically who the platform is for.But amazon.com does allow other countries to sign up for it fairly using foreign information.Same way an American citizen can sign up for amazon uk.
