Certificate Of Orgranization
 

I have a quick question in regards to the Utility Bill and Business License request. I think the reason why some people have less pass rates is because they may not be sending in both request or they maybe sending in the wrong business paperwork.
My question to the experienced ,do you think amazon will accept the Certificate of Organization( which is the official paper work you receive from the state after registering a Entity) in replacement of business license, or does it really want us to get a city level general business license to run a online store?

Everytime you post on here agent your purposely trying to be unhelpful.We all know posting on amazon forums is useless so why even mention it?I follow your post pretty often.

AMZN forum participants may not understand stealth,but some of them would know the answer -local business license or certificate of organisation.
He is not getting an answer here,so why not ask there.
ditto with Ebay forum,you will always get an answer,whether it is worth anything.
I have 3 retail certificate issued by 2 states,I have one so called Doing business as from one county ,I also have a permit for collecting sales tax and use tax from the state I am residing.
which one should I use if I were asked?

I would take a stab at answering his question-local business license carries more weight than the certificate of organisation.
Why?
because one can create an organisation and do nothing,but a local business license is more convincing that he is serious about conducting business.

Followup question,can a general business license be easily verified through public records.
Im aware professional licenses and permits can be looked up easily online through city/state websites.But some cities dont include general licences in the search.Texas for example doesnt do general business licenses at all in any county,they are one few states that dont.So is amazon not accepting anyone from texas to sell amazon?And do you think they try to verify licenses beyond just if they look real?Im aware if its something that takes amazon more then 1 minute to search ,they most like wont do it.
