Amazon apparently send seller’s info to the tax office!!
 

They ask for your bank statement, certified copy of bank details, photocopy of your passport and copy of your utility bills in order to pass all that information apparently to tax office!!

They dont have that much nore they work for Tax office under data protection act they even cant

if you are being audited,at least in USA,Internal Revenue Service can ask to see your sales record,if you use Paypal to accept payment,they want to see that too.
State auditor can see it as well,this is how they determine if you are collecting sales tax.
Other govt agencies can ask as well,there is a guy who sells on EBay but never ship anything,it is a way of receiving fund from overseas ISIS affiliated organisation for US operations.
FBI asked to see his Paypal account ,it would show who is sending him money.

That is how it is now days. Anytime you sell anything or are receiving payments online your ssn, tin, ein, bank accounts, etc will be linked and there will be a paper trail for everything. Why is this even a thread?

There is no reason a sales venue will report to tax authority,only if it is asked ,then it will
have to comply.

Amazon never sends tax data. It is forbidden!
If you do not pay taxes, the tax office will find out that you are making illegal profits)))

The documents that Amazon asks for are necessary in order for him to see that you are a real person, live at the specified address, make purchases, etc.
