Amazon gift card delay

When buying gift cards off Amazon, I often experience a delay receiving of 1-2 hour for large orders. Does anyone know any tricks or time of day of ordering to speed this up?

Sure. Stop buying them.

What is your hurry?

I'm not sure of your definition of large. But when I placed (past tense) large gift card orders - it took up to 36 hours before they come in.

Its normal, not sure there are any tricks to speed up processing

I have complained to a rep and had them speed it up before.
