Amazon new security screen
 

Has anyone seen recently (or past), what I believe is a new security measure by Amazon, where upon signing into an account and browsing around, it will ask the account to enter the credit card number and cvv code associated with the account? Just got this for the first time, I use a lot of bots to access Amazon.

That's weird, I haven't seen anything like this.

Is that a legit amazon page you are sure of?

100% legit. I have never seen it either. I was using firefox portable with a proxy (like I always do) and noticed my connection seemed to be slow. The screen showed, I entered all the information, and everything proceeded as usual.

havn't seen that yet but could be due to a specific IP if for whatever reason it was higher risk than the normal risk you're using

Yes, never seen this before. Everything is kosher with my operation so trying to determine why. Private browsing and proxy?

Yes ive got this many times on my legit account. Make sure all cards are updated, one time it picked an expired card that I no longer had.....

save the history/cookies, that stuff really helps with trust/security

Yes, the account was recently locked too for using gift cards (legit ones), Amazon has some crazy security in place.

Amazon doesn't like it when a single customer account uses a lot of gift cards. This is abused by hackers and therefore Amazon has stepped up its antifraud system for gift cards.

Received an email from address verification saying the account was locked. Upon signing in, I had a screen that asked for billing information, saying they will be back within 24 hours. Now I can login but the account can not navigate more than two pages before being automatically signed out.

Yes, I keep getting hit with this screen on all my accounts. Not sure why..
