Mac address possibly, but if you think thats farfetched, they could definitely tell when someone is using a proxy if they really wanted too. This alone is suspicious.

if you owned a online retailer would you accept a new seller trying to create an account using proxies ?

Anyhow this is all speculation it could be the fact that its Q4 and they flat out not accepting new sellers.

But then part of me thinks if that was really the case why wouldn't they just stop accepting new application for set amount of time.

I have heared of times when they rejected becouse of linked accounts, if they would suspect that its linked to another account then they can tell so.

Even if you open it somehow it will be shut down after you sell the first 2 items Good luck !

Update***

Account was approved then few hours later received an email saying amazon is reviewing the account and my privileges have been suspended. Can anyone advise what usually comes next.

I have a second account going through the process- They couldn't verify the documents . should I just cancel the registration and try another time.

Read the email again they asked you to provide utility bill, you cant use the info again its used now only way to get account back send them utility bill

Can’t you just submit documents like articles of organization? I imagine it would be something different but the point is still the same

I have submited a internet bill, and they replyed that they are not eccepting it because its not a internet bill.

I replyed, please review, this "is" a internet bill.

I thinking to wait until after q4 to try reinstate account - any thoughts on this . Also another point is to ensure that bank statement has a debit from the utility bill on there.

The only account I open, they didn't request utility.. and it was on VMware... I wouldn't risk windows users.. all accounts I opened that I get a prompt response from are from VMware... Either that or reformat your computer..

Opening legit account, everything sent, just waiting now..

Opening another on VMware and trying a new method in creating docs..

Will keep you guys updated...

I use vmware and tried many utility bill none of them accepted, tried on uk Amazon its accepted same bill not accepted on USA

I think its not possible to create an Amazon Uk account right now even with real details

I havent heard of anyone who has successfully opened an account there recently...

My address on the coroporation document is different from bank and utility, maybe this the reason, but they are not saying so, they say its not a internet bil when it is.

in summary what do you suggest - I can either cancel my other account before they ask for utility or I can send the BT one. This is absolute BS

Honestly it feels like they are limiting the amount of sellers they are approving for the holiday season

That is really the only logical explanation as to why even people using their real information is being denied

Patience... Keep trying or wait until after the holiday and hope for a better solution

Still working on things.. testing to see if the issue is with the metadata... Need everyone to states if yours have been modified or remove or not altered at all. God willing we'll figure it.. Amazon USA isn't play ball atm.... Smart fraud team.. together we can beat them...😎

@beautfil could be right.... Expensive Gamble for them to cut ppl off.., they make a lot of money from us. If it affects them greatly, they'll ease up on us... But like I said, could be something else or a combination.. smart fkers...

One account requested utility- so I just cancelled the other account now Amazon will not let me do a thing - just stuck on the same page. hopefully this saved the details.

Its really strange they would be limiting the amount of approved sellers

But then again there are on going trade war issues so that could also be related in some strange way

all we can do is keep trying and be patient, and hope for better changes after the holiday season

Had my brother friend, sign up for USA, and they approved him... Legit docs... I have some questions of the route he took...

I opened another myself, waiting to hear from them..

I have a funny feeling I know how it was done😳🙏

Will open another tomorrow after I hear from that dude and examine the process taken.. fk..

I have a few pending right now, legit docs, starting to notice some trends in the process. Seems like all accts require utility bill. Trying some routes to include additional information to show its a legit doc, such as photos of the paper account, .pdf of the bill from the online site for the utility company, and screenshots of the account summary showing the URL of the company to also add additional verification. Noticing some trends in wording to accompany docs too.

Depending on if these get through I would gladly share the process I'm using. All USA accts by the way.

I think i tried it last month, and it was the same as USA.. can anyone confirm .ca is getting the utility bill request

Okay... Another guy open Amazon USA .. legit docs.. driving license and bank statement.. 2 days wait.. no utility required..

Need someone to try drivers licenses instead of passports..

If you have an IP from from USA, it won't give you the option to add license, only passport...
