Repetitive False counterfeit claims

Having an issue with a couple ASINs of mine. A competitor is filing false counterfeit claims, blocking my listings.

After every notice, I send an email to notice-dispute and jeff and my listings are reactivated within 24 hours. But as soon as they become live again, BAM. Another counterfeit claim. They come from ridiculous names and emails like WC / CH3376@163.com, random every time.

How do I protect myself from these ongoing attacks? can I file similar ones against the seller doing it? I know exactly who the ****er is. He's the last one standing.

Well you can't be sure who it actually is... but Amazon knows.

THese type of attacks are very difficult to deal with.
Keep talking with amazon and see if they can stop this guy?

I feel you man.,

Re: Repetitive False counterfeit claims

Well theres only one person left selling those items. I was given a warning from some Chinese person to stop selling or else they would have my account closed.

Reported it and nothing.

Can I not do the same to them? surely its possible if its this easy for them to do it

Seems like you selling into their ASIN, soon you will loose your account does not matter what jeff team doing, playing like this is extremely dangerous shocking your account is still active

Re: Repetitive False counterfeit claims

Is this your own ASIN or you piggy backed? If you Piggy backed then yea, you'll get nailed.

Re: Repetitive False counterfeit claims

The seller is selling a brand they do not own.

They created the ASIN, yes, under a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ brand name, their own username. The real brand is in the title of the item.

When I contest the counterfeit notice, I do point out that the person does not represent the brand that is the item, and my listings get restored

Re: Repetitive False counterfeit claims

well, no one likes people piggy backing on their ASIN specially if they have a high rated asin review

Re: Repetitive False counterfeit claims

I realize that but this person made a new ASIN unnecessarily to try to take more market sales. the product already exists. I used to merge ASINS of sellers who do this but doesn't seem to work anymore

Yes but the piggy backing on those popular ASINs can cause troubles as explained in these thread posts.

Re: Repetitive False counterfeit claims

Hi,
It happened several times to me also, and this is the third time for the same ASIN
Last time (today) same of you prowake, same WC / CH3376@163.com
Of course i know that the accusation comes from the same competitor, the first time the report had his name inside
It is possible that Amazon cannot deal with this issue????

Re: Repetitive False counterfeit claims

This one CH3376@163.com I received me too 2 days ago ,I would like to know who is that
It can't be serious .also the names look likes generate at randoms, they should even not pass through ,
I will accept a claim made by a proper company with all their contact details but this is not fair
