Identity Check Odd AI?
 

I posted a thread about this, and finally had submitted my bank statement to complete the process in opening a new business account.. It is currently under review and so whatever happens, happens.

Only problem I have is not knowing what I used to create my first business account. I didn't even think that one would work but it did to my surprise....

Point of this thread is, when I submit my PASSPORT, it suggests my full name. This means my first, middle, and last name. I presume I submitted this the first time when I opened the account.

Now I was about use my passport for this second account but I did a test to see what it "suggested" for my ID. When I did it, it suggest my last name like this

(last name : Michael) (suggested last name : Ichael)

This isn't my last name but I find it weird how it suggest my last name missing the first letter. It also suggest my ID with a slight variance, with the same expiration. This matters all because if I had entered my ID the first time I assume it links it automatically, but based in the AI it is suggesting a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ person, or at least I'm 99% it is.

Any thoughts? I suppose I'll know my outcome within two days anyways but in the meantime...

About a few months back you could accept the suggestions and as long as you did, it would auto-approve the shop assuming all the info was correct etc.

That changed, now all shops go through manual review (about a month back). So even if you accept the typo suggestion, the manual rep will deny it and you will have to re-do it and match the information

Huh, so that’s how you must of made shops? Crazy how these things work. I never knew that.

I just don’t get why it would suggest a typo name, and slight variation to my ID along side it. Seems pretty strange

There are variations on how to get them through, its changing about every month

What worked last month isn't working this month etc

This has been the case with amazon for probably the last 12 months

There's never a stable solution that lasts more than a few weeks =/
