Does Amazon verify bank accounts?
 

Im curious. Has Amazon ever sent "micro-deposits" for new accounts to bank accounts to "verify" your bank, or any other such manner whether its a push or pull or other means I am not seeing?

Hey Canadianleaf,

I’m not sure what I’m about to say is that relevant to your post but I will tell you my recent experience with verifying my identity through a bank account.

The account is under name “a” but I told amazon amazon that the bank info name is a - generic LLC. I submitted my bank statement which shows:
Generic LLC name
Address
City and state.

The address on the bank statement is different from the llc info and they rejected it saying they need a bank statement that matches everything on the amazon account.

Thats soft verification and 99% pass rate

I haven't seen that kind of microdeposit style for AZ like PP does

Its not micro deposit, basically if you add new bank detail on Amazon they ask to send then bank statment to verifiy where they check name and adress etc nornally get pass within 24 hours and they are quite relax on this

Only happen on some accounts
