How to gain 'ownership' of an account
 

If one were to purchase a 'verified' stealth Amazon account, I assume whomever created it must have passed the tax interview by either by using an EIN associated with a LLC/DBA.

To gain full ownership of the account, would you need to redo the tax interview using your own EIN? If so would that trigger another verification by Amazon?

Even if a single member LLC is considered a disregarded entity for tax purposes, I believe that the EIN number would need to be changed because ownership is changing. Or is this one of those situations where you don't ask questions and just use the account?

Not necessarily, not all countries have such requirements.

There are safe ways to update legal entity that can be followed to lower risk of issues

When you change the ownership, you always have to make the tax interview again.
