Amazon buyer account confusion ?!?!?!?
Ok so this is strange, I used amazon GC on a fresh acc to buy and item (vm, Fresh IP etc) and never even had any payment card attached.
When I make the order I get no confirmation email and the next time I log in it says unusual activity has been detected and ask me for my name, billing address so I just put the shipping address as the billing and filled in the rest as normal.
then I get this email

We have contacted the card issuer of your credit/debit card. However, they indicated that the billing information submitted did not match their records.
If you have moved recently, you may need to update this information with your card issuer. If you would like your bank to fax us directly to confirm your billing information, they may send a fax for the attention of the Address Verification Department at 0208 636 9326.
We need you to provide us with the name, billing address and telephone number as it appears on a recent bank or credit card statement for the card used to purchase these orders. We will remove the hold on your Amazon.co.uk account and complete the processing of your orders once we have verified this billing information.

Now Im not sure if this email was sent before or after I filled in the form but either way this is confusing to me ??
