Account dilemma
 

There's this oldish account where money is captive pending confirmation of personal info (and almost certain doc sending after that). Would closing this account free the balance to be disboursed?

You wont be able to close it if its got money in the account

Closing it wont free the account.

You need to supply the documentation they have requested to have the funds released, whether that is legit docs or creative docs.

They are asking just to confirm license number but I suspect a request to upload it will follow immediately after.

Paypal asked for ID and I declined. They still let me withdraw and then closed the account which is fair enough. But as this is the mob, no shock there.

Still I'm surprised people just now assume that if they refuse to give ID it gives them the right to keep what's not theirs. I mean did 100% of the people who didn't upload docs got their money stolen? Their own terms say:

If you are unable to open a Selling on Amazon payment account, your current funds will be disbursed to you as normal, but you will no longer be able to sell using your Amazon seller account.
