Okay so I don't want to get to excited but I created a sellers account using my husband's information. During registration I was asked to upload his Driver's license and "credit card" statement. I received an email the next morning stating
"Your account was successfully verified and now you can log into your Seller Central account"
I do have a few questions to protect myself from a suspension.
1) I used a brand new tablet specifically for this account, if I want to buy a new cheap laptop and sign in from that device would this pose an issue. It would just be easier to operate using a laptop.
2) What are some items that I can resell that won't run into brand issues or other problems resulting in a suspension. In other word what categories should I stay away from! In the meantime, should I get a re-sellers license in case Amazon request it.
3) I'm still a little confused, although I passed verification. I feel like this is just the first round. Couldn't another verification happen?
Thanks!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
1. no you can use a new device as long as the IP/system has not been used before
2. generic products, non branded, non amazon.com sold items, non exlusive items/hot items
3. yes the utility bill/business license is a common one after initial verification, not all shops get it but the majority do. If you don't see it within a few days of getting verified you should be clear

I think it can also trigger once you change the credit card info.

Did you end up getting asked for verification after initial success?
1. No
2. There is no brand or item that anyone can guarantee that you wont have issues. People have problems with items/brands they create/own. Competitors etc..
3. Yes, it can occur within month or after 3 years.
