Hi all!

I received an email from Amazon the next day I open it and this is my first Amazon account.

They asked for Bills and Business license which I provide. How long can take the verification?

I have not heard from them in a week.

Normally in few days login to your account and see what it says their in settings valid or invalid?

For your security, we have suspended your Amazon seller account because we need additional documentation to verify your identity. During our review, you will not be able to sell on Amazon. Funds will not be transferred to you but will be held in your account while we work with you to address this issue. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account.

Why is this happening?
Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement. If you currently sell on Amazon, we need additional documentation to verify your payment methods and your identity.

How do I reactivate my account?
Please confirm that there is a valid credit card on file, and provide one of the following documents in .pdf, .png, .jpeg, or .gif format. These documents must be authentic and unaltered.
-- A business license, if applicable.
-- A bill that is dated within the last 90 days for piped or natural gas, electricity, piped water, or internet service with name and address visible

The name and address on the document must match your name and address in Seller Central. Please certify that you have provided the document(s) in one of the supported languages. Supported languages include: Arabic, simplified Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish.

I will go ahead and resubmit again. My address match but the name under the utility bill doesn't match with my name. Address do match and also I have business registration with my name and matching address.

I'll let you guys know :)

That is pretty common, you'll have to provide them with either or and cross your fingers

The pass rates are very low

Is everyone receiving this.. after placing docs, it says your account was successfully verified.. then when you login and they charge, says they need a bill..

Quite normal now this part is the difficult one to pass the bill request

Do you reckon they do a soft address research.. already provide a very good bill.. but wasn't accepted.. gonna try a different one, and keep trying until they accept one..

Wondering, would it be better to even print it out and take a picture of it...

They verify bill so only genuine is getting accepted

Yes.. I thought that might be the case.. they're good...

I can get hold of those.. just a shame, they have to make us criminals..lol.. then again.. would be good for the smart ones that can do it.. as it won't get flooded with eBay pirates..

Might be a way to sign up to something ..��..

They cant "verify" a bill. Do you really think private companies are giving access to their customer records to Amazon? Non sense.

Its not nonsense they do, its not necessary that private companies needs to provide them data it can be done other ways cant disclose on open forum

Well.. the proof will be in the pudding.. I've sent them a ⊗⊗⊗⊗, I purchased.. n I also sent then mine, but just address n number changed which was rejected..

Will try a 2 accts tomorrow with genuine bill n Id .. if it works then yes they're verifying bill for sure.. will keep u updated.. but I do think they're verifying it.. their fraud team is awesome atm..

I think that mean your account is dead as usually when they send this failed of verification email. They do not reply.
