Never sold on Amazon. Stealth a good idea for age/trust of feedback?
 

Hi, US seller here
I've never sold on Amazon before, only ebay and recently got indefinitely suspended for personal and business ebay accounts, so am not looking into amazon. Not sure how amazon works, but I would think that they are similar to ebay, where seller accounts with some age/feedback would give buyers more confidence to buy from you? By the way I do not sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or the like. So, should I start from 0 and make a amazon business account, or should I purchase a stealth (if that's even possible)? Also, I'm looking to sell my current inventory within 1 month, (5 different items, quantity of 100 each, and listing at about $50-$55). I know for ebay stealth accounts it's not recommended to sell too much within the first 3 months, so what about amazon? Please give me some insight, thank you!

If you've never had an amazon shop then you can sign up with your information

Stealth shops have an extremely low pass rate at the moment

Amazon is much harder than eBay, but more profitable

You want to avoid selling branded, exclusive, hot or products sold by amazon.com for the first month of operating a new store

If you have invoices for authorized distributors, or the brand, you can sell whatever you want ASAP.

If you don't, exercise caution and build your way up

Thank you for your response! I'm not sure if they are considered "hot" items, but I have some medical face masks at home that amazon currently are not selling/previous sellers have sold out of. Does this qualify or still needs to be avoided the first month? Also, does amazon have the option of personal/business seller accounts like ebay, or just business?

Thank you for your response! I do not have invoice from retailers, I bought these masks from an ebay seller some time ago (have receipts from ebay), and would like to sell them now as I have no use for them. Should I still be exercising caution? If so, how/what are the advised limits? Please advise, thank you!
