I saw it pop up once last week and again yesterday.

Before this I saw it pop up randomly on the Canadian platform

I'm hoping its just a once in a while thing, which they will test and learn they will take a huge decrease in the amount of sellers/revenue they get, and eventually get rid of it.

Reason I started this thread was to see if anyone has actually gone through it to provide more info about the process, as it could be helpful to everyone else that may eventually run into it

TBH if they roll something like this out it will be easier to get legit accounts created, but impossible for stealth.

sounds good to me. I don't do Amazon stealth as I hear it's already near impossible. plus it takes money out of the pockets of Amazon workers.

I am more concerned that you still need to do utility bill verification even passed this video verification

That's actually good news to not see anyone run into it yet, but its only been less than 24 hours

Didn't take a screenshot, but it gave 3 options.

1st option was to schedule a live video call with an amazon rep 3-5 days out choosing a time from the hours 8-5 in 30 minute booking intervals.

2nd option was to have an amazon rep come to your house

3rd option was to meet at an amazon location

Not choosing one, or simply cancelling would keep verification pending, can't complete it until going through one of them

Saw it on Monday last week and on Saturday, before that I only saw it once a few months back on the Canada platform. Seems like they're randomly testing it. Lets see if others run into it within a week

Now that Amazon has a new option, Amazon sends you a postcard with a verification code. When you receive the postcard, enter the verification code on the website

For stealth there are ways around this, address forwarding services etc

but ye just makes it harder.

Anyone else seen that?

Just created uk account nothing is changed yet, hope they will give few months before implementing these **** here

I doubt this is something they would do with everyone,they will def lose a ton of popularity open up a lane for a new competitor.Its prolly random triggers,i make accounts often and havent seen this.The most ive seen is different looking forms,but never video chat.Good luck with that if they want to do it for everyone.

before you create your account you get an address from an address service. Which there are several out there
Use that to create the account.

When you receive the code at that address, the company you pay for the address will forward it to your real address...

Update..

If you miss the appointment that was setup, you'll need to reschedule again, no other option but to go through it on shops that get it.

3 in total, 1 on Canada about 3-4 months back ish

Then 2 on the US site within 7 days of each other

I'm surprised no one else has seen it... But thats actually good news if no one has run into it yet

Have a few guys telling me they saw a few of the postal code requests over the last few days of making shops. Ramping up the frequency we've seen so far

Either they are increasing the testing and its temporary, or this will soon be the new norm :/

We don't know anyone that has verified via postal code, this could take the position of the utility verification post initial verification.

Hopefully in the next few weeks we have more info of someone going through it

beautiful puppeteers this forum through multi accounts ,thats nothing new.I have yet to see any of these request,however I do have a much more authentic way of creating accounts then he uses.Maybe its just his way triggering these request more often and the fact he spams accounts by the hundreds.

Amazon and ebay are just going to open a new lane for someone else to come in.They lost the whole reason why they got big in the first place.

For uk i noticed yes, but only able to create personal accounts, working on sole trader

I setup new shops this week and see video call on most shop accts.
