Amazon Account Deposit Method Bank Accounf
 

My account is banned. My sister-in-law set up an account for me (and her) with all her info.

We need to add a deposit method before our listings can go live.
I have a savings account I’m not using that has never been associated with an amazon seller account.

My question is can I use this savings account with my name on it? Will they ask for the name on the account? I’ve read amazon can’t verify the name on the account but it seems like they ask for the name when setting up the deposit method.

Yes you can add savings

But receiving many payments to a savings may trigger issues with your bank as a savings shouldn't be used like a checking

Your best move is to open an additional business checking with the name of the stealth shop added as a business name to the checking account

I guess my question was more about the name on the account. Right now my name is on the account. Does Amazon ask for the name on the account and do they verify it?

If I added my sis in-law name to the account would that work?
