Will Amazon allow me to sell despite my nationality?
 

I am an Iranian living in the UK. Iran is not listed under the section of eligible countries for Amazon seller accounts. The article simply states that one should be "resident" in one of the listed countries.


However, I suspect Amazon won't allow me to register an account even though I am a UK resident and my company will be registered in the UK.



I read online that the country of citizenship is what truly matters.


What do you think about this? Does anyone here have experience regarding this?

As long as you can prove living in uk cant see any issue

Tricky for the reasons you described, but it doesn't hurt to try and verify yourself if Iran is in the list of countries supported on the page to verify yourself

If its not listed there, then you'll likely have to go the stealth route

I am Iranian living in the UK too and I have online business since 2012, As you know Iran Is not in eBay list too, I have Amazon account since 2018 without any problem.

Did you receive any message from Amazon about your nationality?

I didn't receive any message from Amazon, I have not signed up with Amazon yet.


Are you not able to sell on eBay because Iran is not on the list?

What exactly do you mean Iran is not on eBay's list? eBay has never asked me about my citizenship!


I suspect you are referring to managed payments? If so, are you not able to sell on eBay due to your Iranian citizenship?


Btw, is your Amazon account legit or opened with stealth info? Did Amazon allow you as an Iranian citizen living in the UK to open a seller account?
