FBA reimbursements getting much tougher

Had 3 FBA refunds done by AZ, 2 delivered late by carrier, 1 missed fulfillment promise.
Waited the 45 days, no returned product or reimbursement.
Asked AZ, their response:

"Based on order # xxx, the refund was not issued by AZ. Refunds issued by entities other than AZ, including FBA sellers, are not eligible for reimbursement"

WTF. Only AZ and our company can refund, and it sure as hell wasn't us.

Thoughts anybody???? Or does Jeff need more alimony?
