Hi

I work for a online company who sell on Amazon and have a company laptop, can I use that laptop to register for Amazon Prime account, will this effect the company amazon account. I used to have amazon seller account about 10 year ago and it got suspended for ODR rating. If I use it to register will this affect my employers account

This is the kind of stuff that keep me up at night: That a staff would someday do something really silly and get us all 'killed'

The answer is NO.
I suspect that with what has happened with your brother's account, your main account and other subsequent accounts belonging F&F which have been suspended under your care (bar your brother's) - you would be wise not to jeopardize the account of a company who pays your wages.


On the contrary, you should furnish your employer with a disclaimer of your history with Amazon.

you don't want to be creating or operating an amazon shop with any shared information

every shop should have its own dedicated system + IP

I have seen worse,ex employee walked away with company information such as bank accounts,warehouse inventory,supplier contacts.
You know AMZN has a new policy,really not so new anymore,in order to add/replace an existing bank account,you must first enter the current bank account number.
This policy comes after a third party seller complained to AMZN that someone hacked into his account,replaced the bank account with a new one and siphoned off $80K.
AMZN refused to tell him where did the money go,which bank and which account?

I don't want to open a seller account, I would like to open a NEW prime account to buy things and watch prime TV?

Just don't want it to effect the company accounts. FYI never logged into the company Amazon account on my own wifi

Do NOT use your company laptop that already has its own amazon account.
PERIOD!

Even having a residential IP on that laptop will not help you.

Use your own laptop
