For immediately suspended accounts, does Amazon still charge you $39.99?
 

I have had a bunch of attempts at stealth Amazon accounts lately, and now I see its so much harder to pass.

But I was wondering, when signing up on Amazon as a pro merchant (or whatever its called), do they give you the money back? Or do you basically lose $40 to make an attempt at a new account?

No they dont give money back, its not hard to pass as before try with individual account then upgrade to pro

LOL Amazon are scum. If they aren't going to provide you with a service then they have no right to keep your money.

Exactly! I'm sure there is some fine print that we agree to when signing up that mentions they can keep the money.

I was trying months ago to make accounts now I wonder how much I lost.

Now it seems like I should just buy an account.

If your account is banned Amazon will refund the $39.99 if you ask them but they certainly wont volunteer it.

Very scummy with their seizing of funds and difficulty in getting funds from deleted accounts indeed

Yep, they owe me funds from January and stopped replying to my emails.

When they first started the immediate suspension, I opened a legitimate account that got closed, I was so pissed with them I did not do the verification and asked for my money back which they refunded.

They do charge $39.99 right away which adds to the cost of shops if they fail verification

You can get it back if you ask but you'll need to burn a bank # and add it to amazon to withdraw $40 (not worth it)

Never knew that, now I'b debating to go back into those acts and request the money back. Or bad idea to ever log into a suspended account again? I'm planning on buying an account from to avoid the hassle.

True point - of course if you use a legitimate credit card, chargeback does become applicable
