I just found out you can get anyone banned from Amazon!!!
 

Long story short, I signed up with Amazon back in 2018 with my legit info as I've never sold on Amazon before.

After signing up, I left the account idle as I didn't really need it and basically just forgot about it.


I logged into the email I used to sign up a couple days ago, the last email Amazon sent me was this:

"Your selling privileges have been removed, you won't be able to sell on Amazon while your account is under review. If you want to start with the verificaiton process please click on the following link"


There was no mention of a ban or something in that email. Anyway, because I forgot about that account I didn't start the verification process. I am also locked out of the account because I don't have access to the attached phone number anymore.

I tried to contact seller support multiple times, but I am getting a canned response that the account was deactivated and the case will now be closed.



I didn't find an email from Amazon saying I was banned for life or my messages won't be replied to anymore though :deadhorse:



So am I now banned form Amazon? Can I register a new account with the same details I used back in 2018? This is really nuts if they had really banned me for life just for not completing the verificaiton process.

you needs to make an appeal using the button provided on your account, seller support cant help
Any new account you try to create will ban instantly

I am locked out of my account because the phone number attached to it is not active anymore.


Can Amazon really link accounts via hardware?!!

You needs to get your account back rather then thinking making new one, you can reset the account by sending your id if the phone no is not working

Well, if you know the name, date of birth along with the address of anybody, you can basically get their a** suspended from Amazon.



You simply get yourself a VCC with their name and you just register an account, the Amazon system will automatically suspend that person's original account and ask them to appeal, the person will be disoriented and the appeal will most probably fail.


Go ahead try it, all you need to register is name, date of birth, address along with a VCC.


The Amazon system is so rudimentary that thousands of sellers have been suspended and accused of having "multiple-accounts", the number of stories on seller-central forums is just endless :juggle:

What about accounts that didn't begin the verification process?


For example, I register an account with the name Adam Smith (01.01.1980) and address X, VCC with the name Adam Smith is also used for registration. Amazon sends an email asking to begin with the verificaiton process, account is left idle and 2nd account is opened with exact same details.



What about the real Adam Smith now? What if he tries to sign up with Amazon while living in a different city or country? Will Amazon terminate his account and accuse him of being related to another account?!! WTF this is really nuts and they are actually doing it this way.

You are absolutely right about that :-)


I think the system is flawed in a way, it may be a bit hard to pass verification, but it sure as hell isn't that hard to wreck someone's future on Amazon by creating a duplicate account with their info... they will then have to persuade Amazon it wasn't them who did it :boink:

You can't wreck someone's account that way

If you did, the 2nd shop would be deactivated and nothing would happen to the first
