Amazon unified all global selling platforms into 1 signup?? Verification changed EU?
 

Starting today, when trying to sign up for an amazon account here:

https://services.amazon.co.uk/servic..._desktop_basic

Or in https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/

I noticed it redirects you to sellercentral.amazon.com which is amazon america and then mentions every single type of global amazon account.

They then ask passport and bank statement.

Is anyone else seeing the same?

Seems they unified all global amazon selling platforms into 1 signup, anyone else agree?

Yup they have been doing this in the last 1-2 months

Which likely means that information that was previously shared between platforms, that was thought to be separated, will now be able to be linked

But they never unified amazon singapore, egypt, turkey, india saudi arabia, united arab emirates, china, brazil

I just get my new account a week or 2 ago and get access to all this list.

Its great news so this means they dont ask for much info for eu accounts now? Just passport and bank statement?

.com like I noticed many months ago which makes no difference USA and verification are separate

Can you try sign up and confirm the same. Do you also get redirected to sellercentral.amazon.com instead of sellercentral.amazon.co.uk

Yes .com makes no difference this been running from long time the UK account can also access using .com link nothing is new and dont think will change as eu accounts require much more documentation then usa
