Planning to Dropship on Amazon, But Can't Risk a Ban
 

Hi!

Here's my dilemma. I am dropshipping on eBay and I want to start on Amazon. However, my mom uses her Amazon account so often to buy stuff. I can't risk our IP getting banned.

If I dropship from Amazon using my own account and get banned, would my mom's account get banned as well?

Or would she still have access to buying items, but just won't be able to sell?

Welcome to the forum.

I would create a brand new stealth Amazon account being sure not to be linked to the other 2 (your mom's and yours).
In case things were going bad you will still have your account and your mom her account.

Lear in here how to safely proceed or buy a ready made account from sellers in the marketplace.

I think that if an IP ban will only result in getting our Amazon Seller Accounts banned, but still have access for her to purchase items, that's something I'm okay with.

Do you know exactly what happens once a seller account is banned? Does the whole account become useless or just the seller account?

So I live with my parents. So we share the same IP. So if I sell on amazon with my own account, her account is linked by IP, so if I get banned, she gets banned.

But I guess my question is that if we get banned, does that mean we lose all Amazon privileges, including buying products from Amazon? Or do we only lose the ability to sell?

Because if we can still buy products, it's a risk I can take because my mom is not going to use Amazon to sell anything.

Hi,

the problem is that we live under the same house, so our IPs will be linked. I also log onto her account on my own computer to buy items frequently

Use a different IP source like Bigblackdog indicated - or mobile phone tethering too
