Does amazon work the same as ebay?

Planning to open a few different account using different family names.
Would like to ask whether amazon works like ebay where i have to use a unique IP and computer for each account.

If one account were to get suspended, can amazon link my other accounts too?

Amazon is 20x more strict than eBay. Trying to apply "eBay stealth" methods to Amazon will get you shut down almost immediately. Just using different members of your family is not a suitable way of running multiple Amazon accounts.

But yes, unique IP's are a must.
