A 3hr account! "your seller account has failed our seller account review process"

This is new! I have never seen that one before. The account was up for about 3 after selling 3 items. Oh well back to the drawing board. I currently have 2 other amazon accounts up now. I want to see if they will get linked. Also that Account had a PA address and my IP was from MASS.

Hello from Amazon.com.

This message is to inform you that we have blocked your Amazon.com account. Your open listings have been cancelled and you may not sell on our site.

We have taken this action because your seller account has failed our seller account review process. While we appreciate your interest, we cannot reinstate your account.

Please note that Amazon.com reserves the right to close accounts as we deem appropriate. As stated under Section 6 of our Participation Agreement:

Amazon.com retains the right to seek reimbursement from Seller if it, in its sole discretion, decides to reimburse Buyer under the terms of the Amazon.com A-to-Z Guarantee or we receive a chargeback from Buyer's credit card issuer for the amount of Buyer's purchase from Seller."

Did you register and immediately sell? If so, that probably caused it...

shoot2kill 10-17-2009 12:43 AM

I made the seller account and list an item. 3 sold! them bam!

Burst 10-17-2009 08:31 AM

That would be the reason.

You NEVER want to do that- here's a simplified version of what you should be doing:

1. make SELLER acct on amazon
2. wait 14 days (I usually do a few more to be on the safe side)
3. then list items not totaling more than $750 per month
4. be happy :bounce:

do we put in our checking account after the 14 days?

Amazombie 02-01-2010 03:09 AM

^^^
I usually wait after 30 days since selling limits could still close my acct. & I don't want to waste my bank acct.

nobody999 02-01-2010 01:08 PM

not sure what you mean by "don't want to waste my bank acct."
don't you have to input a bank account number regardless, since your wanting amazon to deposit your funds?

First Edition 02-01-2010 03:13 PM

I'm sure amazon limits based on risk assessment, much like ebay/paypal. Were you using stealth information? Be creative

If I have a new account closed and Amazon still gives me access to it then I just use one of my bank accts. that were previously banned by Amazon. This way I don't waste one of my other new, unbanned bank accts.

When I get back to the US I am going to switch to one of those green dot type of cards and buy a bunch of them.

oh i see....but do you only put in a previously used bank account when your suspension is due to linking?

Amazombie 02-03-2010 05:41 PM

Yeah. I been doing this for the last 4 months and haven't had any issues with them not transferring money to my previously banned seller accts. I sometimes even use the same banned bank acct. several times for my other banned amazon seller accts.

do you input your previously banned bank account on the suspended seller account after the 90 days suspension or do you put it in there when you immediately get the suspension notice?

You can do it whenever dude, you got 90 days to think about it lol. Last time I did it a week before the funds were ready to withdraw.

I put it in immediately after I get suspended then I write it down with a note to follow up later.

interesting...do you think amazon notices that the bank account was previously banned before

Amazombie 02-06-2010 02:54 AM

From my experience, once ur seller acct. is closed it is off Amazon's radar so all they are interested in is transferring the money after 90+ days and getting rid of you.
