virtual machine detection
 
Hi guys, just wondering if Amazon can detect that we are accessing our account running a virtual machine? It should be easy to find out using device fingerprinting or some other methods?

Yes they can. Even Ebay can and they're not as advanced as amazon.

Then I assume they can link the accounts if we clone our vms for multiple accounts since they have have same device fingerprinting (hardware)? Or they can just ban us for using vm alone if they decide to do so.

No they don't you can use vmware on Amazon as long as its setup properly

Why people dont use RDP ? I am using on my ebay stealths since a month and all is going well RDP + ipburger chrome extension works perfectly well. We can use from any device any time from anywhere even from smartphone.

It can work - the issue is if the RDP connection goes down (example: other computer turned off) then you lose that IP connection for whatever amount of time..one possible issue

Amazon and eBay can tell (should they wish to) when you use a VM, but it should not be a reason for the suspension, as there are plenty of legitimate reasons to use VM and consequently plenty of real non-stealth users.

Your first installation should be a barebone repository, then clone and customize from your repository when you need a VM. A log for past VM and a blueprint for post-VMs will be handy.

Anything less is just lazy and probably defeats the idea of using a VM in the first place.

Ebay scans ports that are exclusive to rdps and if they see it, they will suspend you.
