Adding credit card to new account
 

When a debit/credit card expires and is updated by the my bank it usually has same 16 digit number. Only the expiry date and cvv number on the back changes.

Is this now a card i can use with a new Amazon seller account? Becoming effectively a new card?

Past cards with the same 16 digit number will have been used on old restricted accounts.

Nope, you'll need a new card.

You need a new 16 digit card number, which will come with a new expiry and back 3 digits code.

You can request a new card from your bank.

Oh god, so that means opening multiple bank accounts to get multiple cards?

I've reached the limit with one bank (5) and another actually rang up wanting to know why my basic bank account had all these funds coming in and nothing going out.

Hmm....i found one replacement card with it's paperwork saying the 16 digit number has been updated. That's one good to go.

Just need to find something showing the previous cards numbers. Perhaps the bank could tell me?

you can also accidentally lose the card and your bank re-issues a new card #
