Will converting to North America Unified Account cause suspension?
Hi,
TLDR: we had an account suspended years ago on Amazon.com, but we have another account for Amazon.ca still active, will the latter changing to North America Unified Account and/or selling on Amazon.com again cause suspension?
Let's say our company is called abc.com
We have 2 Amazon accounts: - usa@abc.com, for Amazon.com (US) only, suspended 6 years ago
- ca@abc.com, for Amazon.ca (Canada) only, still active
The 2 email addresses are under the same domain abc.com, 2 accounts under the same addresses and same contact person, used on the same computers.
6 years ago, our usa@abc.com account was suspended, because we were selling our products under another brand's listings. My bad, lesson learned.
At the time (even til now) the suspension of usa@ account on Amazon.com did not cause the suspension of ca@ on Amazon.ca.
We haven't been selling on Amazon.com (US) since then (due to suspension);
but we've been selling on Amazon.ca in good health with our ca@ account, we learned the lesson and always list under the correct UPCs in good faith.
Now, if we start selling on Amazon.com (US) again with our ca@ email account, probably by converting to the North America Unified Account, will this cause suspension, given that our company info / computer / address never changed?
Because the ca@ account is our bread and butter, we're extremely cautious, so any chance of suspension is to be avoided.
Thank you very much!
