Amazon New Account Requests Invoice After selling few Products
 

Amazon stealth Account requested invoice after selling few items. I should have waited to build history but I didn't have the time, because I had about 4 days until the Amazon monthly fee was due. I had to make some sells asap. I have one of the products invoices from the brand company. But the other two products I bought them from a reseller not direct from manufacture. Has anyone experience similar situation. Do they call the number on the invoices to check if you are legit direct buyer? Also, will the brand owner give buyer information to amazon?

I know how you feel. But it's like this... you said you don't have time, you do have time it's a choice that you make on what to do.
You decided to risk it and make some or nothing.

THe alternative is go slower as advised, make less but in the long term you'll make a lot more for longer.

To counter the early period of less income having more accounts to work with will help.

Keep record of which items you listed that requested an invoice

Its also likely you got a competitor that reported the new seller

The combination of a report + being new seller will trigger invoice requests

I noticed this happened to two friends of mine who started selling on Amazon in 2020. It seems like most new account they will request invoices after you make a few hundred to a few thousand in sales.

Has anyone had any luck with specific suppliers / brands / wholesalers / distributors to get past this initial hump? Seems like new Ghost accounts + getting past this initial invoice request = you're golden.

Quite easy to pass this initial invoice request. Usually 90%+ of cases like this are solved without any issues.

Use an invoice from one of your distributors. Add the items in question. Change your name and address to match the account. 99.8% of the time they do not call the distributor, and even if they did, privacy act usually comes into play.

What is a more safer option?

I've been in a difficult situation with invoices. What are they looking for - do they check the website, look up compnay information online or just look at the invoice and call the number.

I have been creative but they reject within minutes. I buy through a wholesaler, is that the problem.
What is the best way to do this - change details and put on a different supplier contact number.
Any help would be great to get past this invoice issue everything else going good with buyers and account health

The first question - to help clarify your situation - is what kind of stuff (category is fine) are you selling? A lot depends on that.

It is in beauty category. Which I know is harder than most, but lots of people selling there also

That is tough, true - even though lots of people selling there doesn't mean it's just "whatever" - your item(s) might be too hot...if they're banning you in minutes, it could be that the entire item listing is flagged for new sellers

No, was selling but beleive I sold too many or more likely a customer complained about an item was "used". When it wasn't.
Then they didnt remove it, just gave option to send invoices within 1 week.
Only when I sent the invoice was it blocked
I can still appeal but they dont like the invoice. But it is an ok invoice. Seems I am missing details of what they do want. Can't figure out what and dont want to try too many times

Could I purchase from another distributer and try a new invoice or will that make them suspicious with dates of new invoices

were the resellers AMZN selers ?
Did you buy those items after you received payment from your customer?

Give AMZN the vendor invoice you have and tell them the others have no invoice,you bought them for yourself long ago.

OP said AMZN is asking for vendor invoices for what he has sold,he does not have vendor invoice of 2 items he bought from resellers.

no I had them pre-purchased in bulk. And I provided this invoice.
IF they dont' accept a real invoice I will have to provide a creative one.

In that case, is it better to fudge the contact details and other details
