Amazon offers free generation of vat invoices (or receipts for those exempt from vat)

For some reason i am not eligible for receipts (i'm registered for VAT) so i need to do this manually.
It's compulsory to issue invoices/receipts to Business customers and i have now received an 'action required' email saying i have violated a policy (going above 5% invoice defect rate)

I have seen online invoice generators but can i also use these for non vat invoices (receipts)?
Any simple recommendations?

I assume the document has to be in a certain file format so i can't just upload a pdf?

Are these receipts ever manually checked? Not sure i'm comfortable giving out my stealth address in case i get a customer who tries to shop direct and blows my cover. Could i edit my address on the invoice without it being noticed?

If you vat registered simply activate vat calculation service on AZ its free and automatically generate your invoices

I'm not vat registered, however you still have to issue business customers with a receipt to confirm this. Amazon do offer a receipt generation service but it says i am not eligible.

I used invoice-generator.com to make a manual invoice/receipt and i have now uploaded this. It was a pdf file. I altered some stealth address details as i don't think amazon checks these (they must get thousands).

In above post you mentioned you registered for vat,
You can click on vat exemption in the email which you received from AZ and they will automatically issue receipts to customers
