Signing up as Amazon non-pro seller account w/real info but amazon wants a CC
 

Is there a way to get around having to provide a credit card to Amazon when signing up for a USA Amazon seller account if I don't plan to sign up as a professional seller? It's demanding a credit card but all my credit cards are associated with an address black listed by Amazon. If sign up for a new real credit card will Amazon be able to see the real billing address of my credit card? I would just use the debit card associated with my old checking account that has a non-blacklisted billing address but amazon doesn't take debit card.

Ask your bank for a new credit card.

YOu'll be good to go with it.

Get a mailbox somewhere local

Add your new mailbox business address as an authorization address to your CC

Add your new CC and new address to your shop :thumb:

I assumed that banks (USA) would look me up by public record or somehow run KYC with a utility bill to make sure it's my address where I live. Do I have to register the mailbox with an LLC or something so it's on public record somewhere? Couldn't people just register their credit card with a fictitious address?
