How long does the verification take for Amazon UK accounts?
 

Hi. Could you tell me how long does the verification take nowadays for UK accounts? Is it normal to wait for more than 2 months or did I mess up submitting documents. My account status says: docs submitted and pending verification?

It takes few hours, maximum even few days account is gone

After 10 days, you either push for follow-up or like e2free stated, move on

Is this INFO for those who are trying to create a new account or for Aged accounts? In the Amazon forums people are talking it takes a few months to pass the verification for new sellers?

Verification takes 12-48 hours at most depending on what day of the week you're applying

If you don't hear anything back after 48 hours, chances are the shop will not get verified - you'll receive an "Unable to verify" email usually a few days to a week after applying

That usually happens when you apply with information that was already used before to apply

That's only happen once you pass initial verification, you stuck with initial verification which happen in usa even if you trying to register eu accounts, accounts getting approved within few hours if all provided what they asked

Ok. And what's the timeframe for a full shop verification? I've opened a couple accounts but the problem is European marketplace still showing pending verification but USA is active and all listings are live. But I only need UK accounts.

Once usa active and card charged you can activate uk and other marketplaces, if its showing pending verification it can take few hours to few weeks or even months longer it takes less chances to get approved
