2nd Account based @mates address, I need some access
 

Uk based here
So Iv opened a new account after suspension using my friends details, his PLC, address etc. I never ever login to the account at my address.
I do need some mobile access so I decided Im going to do this via a mobile phone as its cheaper:

- There is a spare phone used in my address (banned address) before, connected to wifi etc, so can I factory reset and wipe this phone then just buy a new SIM only unlimited data on my friends name and use it on this new phone never connecting to my home wifi?

Use a new laptop/pc and new phone with mobile data.

So sorry for any confusion, my question is can I use a mobile phone to access my friends amazon account bearing in mind my address is linked to the suspended account. The phone has been used on my wifi before so I will factory reset the phone and get a new SIM only for data usage

As long as you don't use app you will be fine, you can use browser to login and mobile data you will not have any issue

Should be fine with a new sim as long as you're only using the browser (not app)

Just make sure to never connect to your home wifi, so it doesn't save your login and accidentally auto join your home wifi one day

Quite a few posts about this and a sticky post if I recall correctly. The app itself used once for a solitary account doesn't cause linking but if used across multiple accounts, it is known to link accounts resulting in problems...

app has access to device info that a normal browser doesn't

could be one way they link multiple accounts, no point risking it

I think you'll be fine.

About the APP, like eBay app, amazon tracks you down heavily... if anything they are the worst when it comes to tracking.

So don't use the APP . That's what people are saying.
