New VM/IP/Info, but getting flagged at the creation of Amazon account
 

I tried to create a stealth buyer account using a VM with Mobile Hotspot IP. Got the dreaded puzzles, then they sent the code to email. Entered it and then they want a phone number to send a text.

This seems like I got flagged. I used a new VM and mobile Hotspot new IP.

Tried again with another new VM with diffrent OS, browser, Screen resolution, background image, still the same-puzzle, code to email and after they request a mobile phone to send text.

This happened this week. Has Amazon changed the creation of a buyer account? Why do you think I am getting flagged at the creation? Any suggestion how to pass this?

Anyone has an idea what got me flagged at the creation? I am at loss because I did everything according to this forum - New VM, new mobile IP, new info.

Nothing new, you must needs to verify email and phone, use to be just email but from past 1 year they also wants you to verify phone no

How do you know that you got flagged? Even with an existing Amazon account if I use a different browser or login from a different location I'm always presented with a puzzle + have to verify on phone.

Just an individual buyer account. I thought it should be easy with a new VM and IP.


T-mobile, but the IP is different every time- They are similar but different. Could be the problem?
OS windows7 and browser Chrome different versions.

I don't believe Amazon require a mobile number to send code when creating a buyer account, at least in the US. I know for a fact someone who created a real buyer account from their laptop a couple of weeks ago, and they didn't get all these things.

I think the system has recognized it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or something like that. Can they detect it's a VM instead of a real computer?

laptop is not a phone.
Those who are still using landline ,they will just get a call or email from AMZN .

Well, I was using a VM on a laptop. Not a phone. Amazon wanted a cell phone to send a text to create the buyer account.
