Amazon changes the way it charges fee - could be a problem for stealth accounts
 

If you have a unified north american account amazon has changed the way it charges fee for it:

Rather than a single $39.99 charge they are charging for US, MX and CA separately which total to $39.99. This means they charge the credit card you have on file for CA and MX.

Do you have a link or text to the new changes?

It would be strange for Amazon to bill you for markets you're not using

They would only bill you if you are using them - meaning you have active listings on them. I have active listings on CA so I was charged for that.

This basically means that whoever is running a stealth account has to stick to one marketplace.

So if you sell on all 3 marketplaces, your being charged $119.97 per month?

No, the fee will be divided on all marketplaces you have active listings in.

Is the billing unified currently for EU and US marketplaces? Or we are getting 25 GBP and 39.99 USD bills?

This has always been the case though

If you sell in the Canada market you need an international VCC, same goes with any other market besides US

But the fees are still a 1 time $39.99 (or ranges up to $50) for the other pro markets
