how to know birthday on amazon
 

hey,

i purchased an amazon account back in 2018 from elmo , and i never had any issues till now. my bank account closed me cause of an error my cpa did and had some issues with the irs. that is all resolved now, but i needed to change my bank on amazon. i tried multiple times and failed. contacted my bank and they told me its an amazon issue. i contacted amazon via email and they told me they need to call me to verify my identity. now i know the first logic question they will ask is dob , which i was not provided with when i initially had purchased the amazon account. i tried to look for the dob every where and can't find it. does anyone know how? please help. thanks.

ps the banks i used where wellsfargo and bank of america and both claim its an amazon issue.

Have you tried looking under "Primary Contact Person Information" section?

Most platforms won't show the DOB anywhere because they expect people to remember their own birthday. Good luck. Maybe go double check any info that was given to you when you bought the account. I've never bought an amazon account but all the eBay's I've bought came with the personal info related to the account saved in a text file.

This could be an issue with mismatching names

Have you tried adding the bank details with your matching name on your bank statement?

As long as both the account # and routing # have never been used before you should be fine to try
