Two separate Amazon accounts under one household (UK)
 

Hello guys. My wife has a legit personal amazon account to buy stuff. I also have a legit amazon personal account to buy stuff and both accounts under the same house address.

I am thinking of turning my own legit amazon account into a pro seller account.


If I go ahead and apply to become a pro seller on amazon using my own legit account would this affect both our accounts (hers and mine registered under same house address) ?

She's not interested in selling and just wants to keep her personal account for buying things, that's all. I'm confused and don't want to jepordise my chance of getting my legit details blocked so had to ask you guys for a bit of advice before upgrading my own account?

I would be registering my company details to start selling if that helps.
I'm in the UK.

if you were not suspended before with your name or address that should work without problems

if it is a personal account which is not a seller account it does not have any meaning as you would need to make a completely new application

If she has no plans to ever sell then it shouldn't be an issue if she is only buying with her shop and you're only selling with yours

Problems with either of your accounts can spill over to the other shop but its unlikely unless it was a major issue

You could keep your shop separated using a hotspot/dedicated laptop if you don't want them ever linked
